Ocean Lanka (Private) Co., Ltd. ("Ocean Lanka"), a subsidiary of the Company, recently celebrated notable achievements at the 25th edition of the Presidential Export Awards, held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall in Colombo 07.

The Presidential Export Awards (PEA) was initiated by the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB) in 1981 and has held 24 award ceremonies over the years. This year’s 25th edition witnessed the participation of approximately 1,500 invitees, including His Excellency Ranil Wickremesinghe, President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, alongside relevant Cabinet Ministers, Diplomatic corps, Government officials, Award winners, and exporters.

Ocean Lanka secured accolades for two consecutive years, receiving recognition for its outstanding contributions to the export industry. At the “Presidential Export Awards 2021/22,” Ocean Lanka was honored with the Best Exporter Award in the Knitted Fabric Category. This recognition highlights Ocean Lanka’s commitment to excellence and innovation in the textile sector. Building on this success, Ocean Lanka continued to shine in the “Presidential Export Awards 2022/23,” securing the Merit Award in the Knitted Fabric Category. This consecutive win acknowledges Ocean Lanka's exceptional contribution and highlights Ocean Lanka’s continued commitment to maintaining high standards and making significant progress in the export market.
